I have found the following books and websites to be helpful to grieving parents. Let me know if you recommend any other product or site.

Books :: Grief
A Time to Be Born by Julie Martin (Thomas Nelson). Available on Amazon. A short, heartfelt book by a grieving mother. Martin uses poetry and her own story to bring healing words to hurting parents. Highly recommended.

A Grace Disguised by Jerry Sittser (Zondervan). Available on Amazon. Their description says: "A revised edition, this book plumbs the depths of our sorrows, whether due to illness, divorce, or the loss of someone we love. In coming to the end of ourselves, we can come to the beginning of a new life. Includes a new preface and epilogue."

Where is God When Bad Things Happen?: Finding Solace in Times of Trouble by Luis Palau(Lutterworth). Available on Amazon. Their description says "Christian evangelist Palau addresses one of the most difficult topics of faith, evil. For the most part, his book is not analytic like C.S. Lewis's The Problem of Pain. Rather, it offers Christian consolation in specific situations. After an introductory chapter, 10 chapters deal with different bad things that can happen: the death of a child, domestic abuse, illness, rape, job loss...."

Books :: Pregnancy and Loss
Trying Again: A Guide to Pregnancy after Miscarriage, Stillbirth, and Infant Loss by Ann Douglas and John Sussman (Taylor Trade). Available on Amazon. Their description says "Written especially for parents who have lost a child, Trying Again provides facts to help determine whether you, or your partner, are emotionally ready for another pregnancy."

Heaven's Brightest Star by Kara Glad (Tate Publishing). Available on Amazon. This small book is written for children who have lost a baby sibling due to premature birth. The sweet pictures and easy-to-understand concepts help kids process their loss. See more at www.heavensbrighteststar.org.
