Some moms and dads don't feel bonded to the child they lose and only grieve for a short time. Others are relieved to have the pregnancy end, perhaps because they hadn't planned to have a child.
Many couples, however, feel at least a short period of intense grief (which can be mainfested in dozens of ways) over the loss of a dream, of a promise, of their child. Each miscarriage experience is as unique as the lost child. As you go through the grieving process, make it your own by identifying what your loss means to you personally, to your marriage, to your faith, and to your future.
